Macknade the Alternative MCC

WELCOME TO MACKNADE CC ONLINE The alternative MCC

Macknade Cricket Club is based in the small market town of Faversham in Kent. The club is located just off the A2 London Road, with easy access to the M2 motorway.

The club was established in 1935 and was originally set-up as a social club for Macknade Farm workers. The club has grown from a small one-team friendly side to its present position of two Saturday league sides, one Sunday league side and one friendly Sunday eleven. With a strong colts set-up made up of a number of different age groups from four plus - we can cater for all cricketing needs.

The club is now the major team playing in Faversham, with established league and friendly sides and an active youth development feeder programme.
Indoor Cricket is played on Sundays during the winter as part of the Swale League and became Division 2 champions in 2006. With the addition of the long established Whist Drives on Wednesday evenings, the Alternative MCC continues to offer activities for all ages through out the year.

We are always looking for new players whatever your standard. We would also welcome any new social members or if you are just interested in umpiring or scoring please call us or pop up the ground on any summer weekend.

Club practice nights are on Wednesday from 6.30pm onwards contact any of the people on the about us page for further details. We look forward to seeing you.
